Designed to stimulate, educate and create memories, from birth to 13 months. Classes are held at The Scout Hall in Balham or Clapham Methodist Church.
Hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the first year including fibre optic light shows, bubbles, bells, musical fun, puppet shows, baby signing, light balls. Held at Eddie Catz South Wimbledon.
A calm, relaxing and hugely beneficial class for you and your baby. Each week they focus on a different area of the body as you learn a basic massage routine that you can safely and effectively practice in the comfort of your own home. Baby Massage has a range of health benefits.
These sensory classes are for babies from sitting to walking (approx 6months – 12months of age) and provide an opportunity to explore Montessori Treasure Baskets alongside Circle Time music. Following the babies’ lead we will explore treasure baskets filled with items offering rich sensory experiences to satisfy their curiosity about the world around them. Classes are held at The Selkirk Pub in Tooting on Tuesday afternoons: 3.45pm and Thursday mornings: 10.30am. Drop in, £6 per class (£3 per sibling). Card Payment only
Melissa Pike runs a 6.25 hour course over 5 Wednesday morning sessions 10:15-11:30am. Please check website for course dates. The course aims to build confidence and understanding of this relaxation technique. Suitable for babies aged 8 weeks- crawling. Research has shown that massage may help to improve baby sleep and increase parent-baby bonding. The course is held upstairs in The Wheatsheaf (2 Upper Tooting Road, London SW17 7PG). The course is £78 but discounts are available upon request.
