Join In and Jiggle- Tooting MINI JIGGLERS (under 18 months)

An active class for toddlers and small children with busy bodies and lively minds.

Everyone joins in! The class is led by a mum of three young children and qualified Early Years and Primary School Teacher, who has tailored the session to include circle games, singing, musical instruments, a parachute and lots of bubbles. It’s all about standing up, getting active, learning something new and doing something different. We put a fresh spin on traditional rhymes, as well as introducing a wide variety of lesser known songs. And since everyone is encouraged to join in, it’s a great work out for adults as well as children.

Growing through play: It’s all fun and games but through joining in, the children will be developing their whole selves across all areas of learning. Skills such as turn taking, socialising, listening to and following instructions and collaborating are at the heart of each session, whilst enriching language with key vocabulary and enhancing gross motor movements.

Come along… You’ll find us upstairs at The Selkirk in Tooting. There’s plenty of space to play with room for buggy parking and baby changing facilities. A lovely, clean, safe room which is incredibly child-friendly. Downstairs, the pub serves drinks and yummy lunches. We start promptly so please aim to be at the session five minutes before with a blanket to sit on.
